Hello Jaclyn,

I am so excited to have found your blog.

I saw that you ask for praise and so I will lavish it on you obligingly... Praise praise praise!

I think you write beautifully. you make me laugh and laugh and laugh.

I always check the bookstore for new ones under 'Moriarty'. It is extra-exciting when they are actually there, and I cannot wait to read your ghost story.

You are also somewhat of a hero because I am a law student, in Sydney, but my heart longs for greener, more creative 'grass'! There is something a bit odd-sounding about the way that I have said that, but I am just going to leave it... Anyway, it is encouraging to know that you did both, and that it is possible.

anyway, I just wanted to drop you a line, and say thank you, and please write more!! Your stories make me happy.

with much love from a fan.

Dear incorrigible overthinker: I think the second best decision I ever made was leaving law to be a full-time writer. But I had a lot of fun as a lawyer, and I'm very glad I did it, and I wish the best for you in both law and creativity. The first best decision I ever made was asking for praise on this blog. Thank you very, very much. And lots of love, Jaclyn x

Dear Jaclyn,
THANK GOODNESS this is modern day technology and we don't have to rely on a mailbox to communicate.
I am SO EXCITED you started a belog, and I can't wait to find out more about you and the books. I read them over and over, enjoying them more each and every time. You make me laugh out loud, which usually makes my sister and friends ask WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU but that's ok. It's totally worth the head-turns.
Your books have helped me more than just laugh, but even find myself in ways I cannot explain. Your books touched me, and I hope you will never stop writing because I think they'll continue finding their way into my life forever. I'll never forget them for all I may live
Bests,

Hi! I´m so glad that I´ve found your blog! I loved your book "Feeling sorry for Celia". And guess what? I´m actually sitting in my "bad teenage-room-without-posters" and write an analysis of it! =)The novel made me laugh non stop and now I´m trying to find some good quotes from it... hmm, there´s so many!

Lots of laugh!

Vanessa, you wrote this a while ago and I've only just found it, sorry - but thank you so very much for your truly lovely, funny, generous words. They mean a great deal to me. And Johanna, it is FANTASTIC to me that you are writing about my book in a bad-teenage-room-without-posters in Sweden! Thank you so much for sharing that! Jxx
