The other day, I burned my finger on a pot of lemongrass tea.
I don’t like lemongrass tea, but I like its name. So I sometimes forget and order it.
Anyway, as I poured the lemongrass tea (sadly), this time pulling my sleeve over my hand so I could hold down the lid without burning my finger—as I did this, I remembered a windy day.

I completely agree with this sentiment. Lemongrass is a pretty, evocative name for a tea that is not really my favourite. Which is too bad. I sometimes chose things for their names too, and then regret it.
Luckily cloudberry tea both sounds and tastes delicious. Or jasmine, for that matter.
Also luckily, your books have lovely titles and even lovelier insides. I'm working my way through your novels and your blog archives and have become completely enchanted.
Your writing is what lemongrass tea should be.
Cloudberry tea! I have never tried it, but now I am going to. I hope I like it because it sounds like the pefect tea to drink while writing a new book. The last book was mainly apple and cinnamon tea. But cloudberry. Imagine how great that would make a book. Thank you so much for the suggestion, and for your very lovely words too. Jx
Now I'm wondering if you can get cloudberry tea in Australia! Ooops. I shouldn't go recommending things that aren't available.
It's an Inuit tea, and so maybe you'll have to try it next time you are in Canada. (or if you have a PO box I would be happy to send some along... it's such fun to get things in the mail that aren't bills)
If you like apple-cinnamon I think you'll like the cloudberry because it's a rich sort of sweet-spicy taste.

Oh, you are sweet, and you might be right. It looks like it might not be available in australia. But that's okay, I like it when things are only available in other countries sometimes: it makes them even more special. I can try it the next time i'm in canada. Thank you again! Jx
