12.

To be honest, his imagination seems a bit fierce sometimes.
Baking muffins in the park, he said to his friend: “Be careful, they’re hot.”
She ignored him, reached for a muffin anyway, at which he grabbed at her hands, shrieked, fell to the ground, shouting in anguish: “THEY’RE HOT! PUT THEM DOWN! THEY’RE GOING TO BURN YOU!!’ .
“Charlie,” I said, “they’re not hot, you know. They’re just leaves and pieces of bark.”

Your son is hilarious. I'd want a kid but only if I could be guaranteed it would be funny and smart, like yours. :) He's exactly like you. Well, obviously, I wouldn't know for sure. But I'd imagine people would say that to you all the time; 'Woah there, Jaclyn,' they'd say, 'your son? And you? The. Exact. Same. Sense. Of. Humour. Talk about genes, eh?' and then they'd smile, satisfied, and turn back to their sandwiches.
